Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Forklift Operator works the second shift in a DHL eCommerce warehouse, handling shipping and receiving tasks. You will break down freight, categorize items, and ensure accurate documentation of pack‑slips and Bills of Lading.

Key responsibilities

• Successfully complete the Forklift Training Certification program
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jack
• Stock inventory and palletize goods
• Scan inbound and outbound trucks during loading and unloading
• Log driver and seal information on the appropriate logs
• Complete the daily forklift safety checklist
• Adapt to alternate operational areas as business needs require

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of related warehouse experience (preferred)
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English
• Basic math skills for counting and simple calculations
• Experience operating industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Willingness to collaborate with other departments and external contacts
