Customer Service Center Supervisor – Cartersville

About the role

The Georgia Department of Driver Services is seeking a CSC Supervisor 1 to lead the Customer Service Center in Cartersville. Reporting to field operations leadership, you will oversee a team that processes driver‑license applications, examinations, and related transactions while ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Identity and Driver Credential Specialists, monitoring performance and providing coaching.
• Manage customer flow using a lobby management system to guarantee timely service.
• Process driver‑license applications, verify eligibility, administer written and road tests, and handle reinstatements.
• Prepare operational and accounting reports and use data to improve center efficiency.
• Participate in employee discipline, performance planning, and evaluation processes.
• Represent the division to executive management and external partners, serving on task teams and workgroups.

Required profile

• Ability to maintain a high‑performance environment in a fast‑paced, public‑service setting.
• Strong analytical skills for planning based on departmental key indicators.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate staff and interact with the public.
• Experience supervising a customer‑service team is preferred.
