Customer Care Specialist (Logistics Operations)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist in Logistics Operations to join Girteka Business Services in Tbilisi. You will manage customer orders from initiation to delivery, keep clients informed, resolve issues and support operational efficiency across our European network.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and input customer orders accurately into internal systems.
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate shipping and delivery updates to clients.
• Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances and minimise overdue debt.
• Process demurrage charges, investigate root causes and implement preventive actions.
• Analyse operational challenges, propose corrective measures and contribute to long‑term solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer care processes and service quality.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience in logistics or transportation environments (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Proactive communication and problem‑solving mindset.
