About the role

The CT Technologist delivers safe, high‑quality imaging while providing a supportive patient experience. Working independently, they follow department guidelines to produce diagnostic images that meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

Perform CT procedures and operate imaging equipment independently.
Obtain patient history, explain procedures using AIDET, and ensure patient comfort.
Administer contrast agents via venipuncture and document studies in RIS/PACS.
Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and infection‑control standards.
Support department workflow and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
Certifications: ARRT‑R (Radiography), ARRT‑CT (Computed Tomography), BLS.

Required skills

Proficiency with CT scanner operation.
Experience using RIS and PACS for study documentation.
Ability to administer contrast agents safely.
