Technical Consultant – Infrastructure Solutions

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a Technical Consultant to drive infrastructure solutioning across the full sales cycle. The consultant will partner with customers and sales teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, commercially viable architectures that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical solutioning for complex infrastructure opportunities from discovery through deal support.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures covering compute, storage, networking, and AI/HPC workloads.
• Conduct product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical presentations.
• Design and size solutions based on workload, performance, and commercial constraints.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior‑level customers, supporting technical discussions at CIO level.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Services teams to build margin‑accretive solutions and differentiate against competition.
• Enable partners and internal teams on solution design, sizing tools, and best practices.
• Support key bids, RFP responses, and large opportunities with technical expertise.

Required profile

• Strong experience in infrastructure (servers, storage, networking) with exposure to HPC/AI workloads.
• Proven track record in pre‑sales, solution consulting, or technical advisory roles.
• Solid capability in solution sizing and architecture design, including performance drivers and TCO considerations.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Confident customer‑facing skills with senior‑level discussion experience.
• Structured working style, able to manage multiple complex opportunities in parallel.
• Fluent English; additional local language preferred.
