Senior Data Scientist (Look-2-Book)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to own end‑to‑end machine‑learning projects that drive measurable impact in the travel B2B domain. You will translate complex look‑to‑book and pricing challenges into robust models and bring them into production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full ML lifecycle from hypothesis formulation to production deployment, ensuring fast time‑to‑market and model quality.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build scalable data pipelines and with Data Analysts to define metrics and design A/B tests.
• Design and deploy scoring models for look‑to‑book conversion, multi‑objective margin optimisation, and cache‑freshness prediction.
• Develop, train, and validate models using classic algorithms (e.g., Gradient Boosting, Classification, Regression) and advanced ranking/recommendation techniques.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
• Strong business mindset: ability to turn business problems into clear ML tasks.
• Proficiency with classic ML algorithms (CatBoost, LightGBM) and recommendation/ranking methods (KNN, FAISS, Learning‑to‑Rank).
• Experience handling terabyte‑scale datasets, excellent SQL skills, and building pipelines with PySpark.
• Ability to write production‑grade Python code, unit tests, and deploy models via Airflow or Python micro‑services.
