Senior Data Engineer – Apache Airflow Specialist

About the role

Intetics Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Apache Airflow to join its distributed team. The role focuses on building and optimizing large‑scale ETL pipelines, data indexing, and performance tuning for a data‑driven project.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Airflow DAGs for ETL and data‑processing workflows.
• Write Python‑based ETL scripts and integrate them with Flask APIs when required.
• Configure and tune Elasticsearch indexing pipelines for fast data retrieval.
• Perform Unix/Linux scripting for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Manage Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high performance for large data volumes.
• Implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, and deployment stages.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to guarantee scalability, reliability, and data quality.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
• Minimum 3 years experience orchestrating Airflow DAGs.
• At least 5 years of Python development, preferably with ETL focus.
• Strong background with Elasticsearch, Unix/Linux, Oracle or PostgreSQL, and GitLab pipelines.
