Senior Back-End Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer with strong .NET expertise to design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services. You will own the reliability and scalability of our APIs, working in a hybrid environment that balances remote flexibility with collaborative office time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable .NET backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in technical design discussions, improving architecture, performance, and security.
• Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers (e.g., Kafka), caching systems (e.g., Redis), and third‑party APIs.
• Implement real‑time features such as WebSockets when required.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code; create and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Debug, profile, and optimise services for performance, scalability, and security.
• Maintain technical documentation and API guidelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in backend development.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with .NET and designing RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, scalability, and API security best practices.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and collaborative version‑control workflows.
