About the role
The Warranty Manager will lead the warranty function within the After‑Sales department, ensuring claims are processed accurately and in line with Kia’s manufacturer standards. This role works closely with service, parts and customer teams to deliver a seamless warranty experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Process, review and submit warranty claims according to Kia manufacturer requirements.
- Monitor warranty repair activities to guarantee compliance with Kia guidelines.
- Coordinate warranty parts orders together with Service Managers.
- Manage labor operations, time allocation and adherence to manufacturer‑established standards.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local and Kia warranty policies and procedures.
- Communicate regularly with customers, providing updates on warranty cases and ensuring a positive experience.
- Track, store and manage replaced warranty parts as required by the manufacturer.
- Prepare and dispatch parts for technical inspection and warranty assessment.
- Identify and resolve warranty‑related issues, escalating cases when necessary.
- Generate regular reports on warranty performance and provide operational insights to management.
- Utilise business systems such as 1C, Microsoft Office and Kia’s manufacturer platforms.
- Ensure accurate documentation of repairs and cost control throughout the warranty process.
Required profile
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service.
- Solid understanding of warranty processes, claim assessment and compliance.
- Experience in automotive after‑sales operations, preferably with close cooperation with service and parts departments.
- Analytical mindset with excellent organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Degree in business, engineering, automotive technology or related field is advantageous.
Required skills
- Proficiency with 1C dealership management system.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with manufacturer platforms and technical manuals.
- Experience with dealership service systems.
