Technical Service Intern – Production Maintenance

About the role

This internship supports the Technical Maintenance Department in ensuring safe and efficient operation of production and packaging equipment. You will work alongside the mechanical and maintenance teams, gaining hands‑on experience in equipment inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the mechanical and maintenance team with equipment inspections and repairs.
• Support preventive maintenance activities according to the established schedule.
• Help troubleshoot mechanical issues on production and packaging lines.
• Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and accurate maintenance records.
• Follow safety, food‑safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Participate in equipment cleaning, lubrication, and basic adjustments.
• Report equipment abnormalities and potential safety hazards.
• Learn manufacturing processes and continuous‑improvement practices.
• Support machine startup, shutdown, and change‑over activities when required.

Required profile

• Higher education in a technical field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Ability to read simple technical drawings and maintenance instructions.
• Strong willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of preventive‑maintenance principles and strong safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in Georgian and English (minimum B1 level).
