About the role
Autodesk is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to drive the technical strategy behind electronics design opportunities for Fusion Electronics. You will build territory, develop partner ecosystems, shape narratives and turn interest into committed deals in a fast‑moving, high‑expectation environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical sales cycle end‑to‑end, from discovery and requirements validation to solution design, proof of value and technical close.
- Deliver high‑impact demos and proof‑of‑value across the full electronics workflow, including schematic capture, PCB layout, library management and ECAD‑MCAD co‑design.
- Lead evaluations, pilots and migration assessments, providing credible plans to move competitor designs, libraries and standards into Fusion.
- Build and grow a partner ecosystem, recruit and enable channel partners, and co‑sell to generate pipeline.
- Drive market expansion through evangelism, webinars, workshops, trade‑show participation and cross‑selling within the broader Fusion platform.
Required profile
- Deep hands‑on experience in electronics design and PCB development, familiar with tools such as Fusion Electronics, Altium Designer, Cadence, Siemens or KiCad.
- Proven background in a technical sales role (presales, solution consulting or sales engineering) with strong discovery and solution‑design skills.
- Excellent presentation abilities for technical, business and executive audiences.
- Ability to create opportunities through direct and partner motions, including recruiting and enabling resellers.
