Team Leader / Engineer (FIDIC Metro Projects)

About the role

Hill International is expanding its operations in Georgia and seeks an experienced professional to lead and engineer metro projects under FIDIC contracts. The role combines project management, design oversight, and construction supervision for the rehabilitation and modernization of underground metro systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and execution of metro infrastructure projects.
• Act as the Engineer under FIDIC, ensuring contract compliance and managing contractual relationships.
• Supervise construction activities, monitor progress, and guarantee quality standards.
• Coordinate with international funding agencies (EBRD, World Bank, ADB) on IFI‑funded projects.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables.

Required profile

• B.Sc. (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably 10 years of international experience supervising underground metro rehabilitation or modernization projects.
• Proven experience acting as Engineer under FIDIC contracts.
• Strong command of English.
• Experience working in multinational project or project‑management teams.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.
• Familiarity with IFI‑funded project procedures (EBRD, World Bank, ADB).
• Advanced English language proficiency.
