Technical Office Lead – Tbilisi Tram Line & Depot Project

About the role

The Technical Office Lead will coordinate all local project processes for the Tbilisi Tram Line and Depot project. Acting as the main link between the project team, the client, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers, the role ensures smooth permitting, contract management and progress reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project processes with local authorities, institutions and stakeholders.
• Follow up local permit, licence and approval processes.
• Prepare and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts.
• Prepare and verify subcontractor progress payments and manage their approval.
• Support preparation and follow‑up of client progress payments.
• Handle official correspondence and maintain project documentation.
• Assist with quantity take‑off, estimation and cost studies.
• Support preparation of variation and claim documents.
• Prepare periodic progress and status reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical office, contract management and progress payment processes.
• Fluent in English and Georgian; Turkish is a plus for local candidates.
• Strong local network among public institutions, local companies and subcontractors in Georgia.
• Good knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract.
• Valid driving licence (Class B).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Understanding of FIDIC contract conditions.
