Senior Software Engineer – AI Platform for Short-Term Rentals

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI operating system for short‑term rental operators. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, develop and scale core platform services that power reservations, pricing, payments and automation across the rental lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable APIs, services and event‑driven workflows that automate manual tasks for property managers.
• Develop AI‑powered components using LLMs and agents to handle guest communication, maintenance triage and pricing decisions.
• Create and maintain integrations with Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google and other ecosystem partners.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure on AWS to ensure reliability and global performance.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of features, from problem definition through design, implementation, testing and monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade software systems and owning their lifecycle.
• Proven ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions and balance speed with reliability.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and operational efficiency in a product‑focused environment.
• Bias toward action, shipping code and learning from real users.
