Senior Sales Specialist

About the role

AKKON LINES, a leading Turkish shipping and logistics provider, is expanding its Tbilisi branch and seeks a Senior Sales Specialist to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to daily customer and forwarder inquiries, aligning actions with established sales strategies.
• Prepare and manage competitive quotations in coordination with headquarters and service providers, ensuring profitable outcomes.
• Prospect new accounts, follow up leads, and conduct customer visits to generate new business.
• Maintain and deepen existing client relationships, identifying additional cargo opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to optimize pricing and increase market share.
• Coordinate shipments with AKKON branches and internal teams to guarantee smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Update cost and selling rates in the AKKON Group system and handle all sales‑related communications, including quotations, operational requests, incidents, invoices, and container follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in container and maritime shipping sales.
• Strong knowledge of the shipping market and customer base.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proactive, result‑oriented with excellent negotiation abilities.
• Effective communication and relationship‑management skills.
