About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical‑Surgical (MedSurg) provides high‑quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This full‑time, day‑shift position focuses on delivering compassionate, patient‑centered services in a hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care plans, and execute interventions to promote optimal outcomes.
• Deliver safe, effective care in line with institutional policies and accurately document assessments, changes, and incidents.
• Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating vital information to families and team members.
• Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives, contributing ideas for process enhancements and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing education, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
• Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment while adhering to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Active RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
