About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse will lead a MedSurg unit during night shifts, delivering high‑quality patient care while coordinating the nursing team. This full‑time position focuses on patient safety, communication, and continuous improvement within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and evaluate patient conditions, contributing to care planning and patient flow.
• Provide safe, effective nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, documenting assessments, interventions, and incident reports.
• Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, offering education, and ensuring patient‑centered care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Maintain current licensure, certifications, and pursue professional growth and leadership development.
• Mentor and support fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment and professionalism.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN licensure (multi‑state or single‑state).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to professional development and patient satisfaction.
