Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care joins an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. The RN applies evidence‑based practice, collaborates with patients and families, and supports a safe clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with cultural competence.
• Coordinate safe and effective care through interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation.
• Mentor peers, complete competency assessments, and serve as a preceptor for new staff.
• Promote evidence‑based practice, participate in research, quality improvement, and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist in developing protocols and optimizing resource utilization to improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Less than one year of clinical experience required; direct patient‑care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and adherence to ethical standards.
