About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in acute care medical telemetry delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care on a full‑time day shift. Working within an interdisciplinary team, the RN assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates care using evidence‑based practices while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide relationship‑based, culturally competent nursing care aligned with clinical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff through clear interdisciplinary communication and accurate documentation.
• Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives, research projects, and evidence‑based practice activities.
• Mentor and precept new staff to foster professional growth and workforce development.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years direct patient‑care experience preferred.
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure in the appropriate state (or multi‑state compact).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, critical‑thinking, and time‑management abilities.
