Regional Safety Manager – Solar

About the role

The Regional Safety Manager – Solar will lead the safety function for Moss’s solar projects across multiple sites. Reporting to senior management, you will guide site EHS teams, ensure compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise and support multiple site EHS teams.
• Conduct monthly EHS audits against Moss safety program requirements.
• Review root‑cause analyses and incident reports, driving corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain and implement EHS programs and initiatives on assigned solar sites.
• Provide guidance on regulatory matters (OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, EPA, ANSI) and Moss policies.
• Travel to project sites up to 90% of the time, acting as the primary safety liaison with clients and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).
• 7+ years of safety experience, or 10+ years in EHS leadership roles.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and related regulatory agencies.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Spanish bilingualism preferred.
