Construction Procurement Manager

About the role

Utopia is seeking a Construction Procurement Manager to lead the full tendering cycle for its luxury hospitality construction projects. Working closely with project managers, design and estimating teams, you will ensure competitive, well-documented bids and select the right contractors to bring each property to life.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete tender packages (drawings, Bills of Quantities, contract drafts, RFPs) in collaboration with project and design teams.
• Develop and maintain a database of potential contractors, continuously expanding it through market research and networking.
• Issue RFPs/ITTs, manage contractor queries, and keep a clear audit trail of all tender correspondence.
• Coordinate site visits, collect quotations, and ensure timely, comparable submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and key contract conditions with shortlisted contractors.
• Create bid comparison tables with estimators and present recommendations for contractor selection.
• Support handover from tender award to contract execution and maintain organized tender registers and trackers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in construction tendering, procurement or related functions.
• Proven ability to manage complex tender processes and negotiate contracts.
