People Experience Director

About the role

The People Experience Director will lead and evolve the People Experience function at aidigital, shaping the partnership and operations teams to deliver a high‑performing employee experience. Reporting to the VP of People & Culture, you will translate strategic priorities into scalable processes and day‑to‑day execution across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the People Experience team, setting clear priorities, ownership and accountability.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex employee relations and people‑related matters.
• Partner with the VP of People & Culture to operationalise the People strategy and turn initiatives into repeatable processes.
• Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks and drive process optimisation, automation and workflow standardisation.
• Use people metrics and feedback to improve team effectiveness, employee experience and decision‑making.
• Support managers in navigating employee situations with consistency, fairness and good judgement.
• Ensure People practices comply with labour regulations, internal policies and governance standards, collaborating with Legal and Finance as needed.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in HR, People Operations or People Experience, including at least 3 years in a people‑leadership role.
• Proven track record scaling People Operations or People Experience functions in fast‑growing, international environments.
• Strong background in employee relations, manager support and HR operations.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes, workflows and HR systems, bringing structure and operational clarity.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Data‑informed mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Fluent English.
