Part-Time Acute Care/Med-Surg Registered Nurse

About the role

The Part-Time Acute Care/Med‑Surg Registered Nurse joins an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced clinical environment. The RN applies evidence‑based practice and shared governance to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive, relationship‑based care tailored to each patient.
• Coordinate and document safe, effective care through interdisciplinary communication.
• Support performance‑improvement initiatives, research activities, and evidence‑based practice.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in protocol development, resource management, and quality‑improvement efforts.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure (single‑state or multi‑state compact).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, critical‑thinking, and time‑management abilities.
