Manufacturing Manager – Food Production

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our food production facility, overseeing the manufacturing of juices, sauces, spices and other products. The role combines operational leadership with continuous‑improvement initiatives to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end production for multiple food lines, aligning daily schedules with weekly plans.
• Plan workforce, equipment, raw‑material and packaging needs; submit material requests and monitor consumption.
• Lead shift supervisors, operators, mechanics and production staff while ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and occupational health‑safety standards.
• Track productivity, OEE, downtime, yield, waste and production costs; produce regular performance reports.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and respond to equipment failures.
• Maintain accurate production, batch, material‑consumption, cleaning, downtime and traceability records.
• Investigate deviations and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and other continuous‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Technology, Maintenance, Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics and HR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Production Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, operational management and food‑safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Proven ability to lead teams, analyse production data and manage performance through KPIs.
• Excellent decision‑making, communication and problem‑solving skills.
