Lead Site Reliability Engineer – Imunify Reliability Platform

About the role

CloudLinux is seeking a senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the reliability of the Imunify360 security platform. You will define service level indicators, build telemetry pipelines, and create alerting and escalation processes for roughly 70 components across a global fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Define SLIs and SLOs for service, fleet, control‑efficacy, delivery, and pipeline metrics, and attach error budgets and owners.
• Design and implement a push‑based, sampled telemetry collection system using Python, Go, and Rust, storing data in a queryable high‑cardinality store.
• Consolidate existing dashboards and queries into a defensible instrument set, retiring unused ones.
• Create symptom‑based, SLO‑anchored alerting with multi‑window burn‑rate semantics and enforce alert hygiene.
• Build a machine‑readable escalation map, routing alerts to the correct squads with follow‑the‑sun on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Extensive production‑engineering or SRE experience, having defined SLO frameworks from scratch.
• Strong communication skills for negotiating SLIs with multiple engineering teams.
• Experience with distributed systems debugging on bare‑metal environments.
