About the role
The Lead HRIS Analyst is a senior individual contributor who provides technical and functional leadership for Workday and related HR systems. Partnering with HR, IT, and business stakeholders, you will design, implement, and evolve scalable HR technology solutions while acting as a trusted advisor.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross‑functional HRIS initiatives, including new Workday functionality, modules, and major enhancements.
- Own and influence the HRIS roadmap by aligning system strategy with organizational priorities.
- Serve as the primary Workday subject‑matter expert, guiding configuration, optimization, and best practices across HR domains.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions, identifying risks and dependencies.
- Resolve highly complex HRIS issues through root‑cause analysis and long‑term corrective actions.
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise‑wide HR programs such as performance management, promotions, compliance reporting, and payroll year‑end.
- Partner with IT and vendors to support integrations, upgrades, and security maintenance.
- Maintain high‑quality system documentation, standards, and reporting frameworks.
- Mentor HRIS analysts through knowledge sharing and design reviews.
- Develop expertise in Workday Extend and guide the evaluation, design, governance, and deployment of custom applications.
Required profile
- 5+ years of hands‑on Workday experience with advanced knowledge of at least two Workday modules.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience leading complex HRIS or enterprise system initiatives.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, security concepts, and systems architecture.
- Experience with reporting, testing, security design, and process automation within HR technology platforms.
- Excellent problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
