Junior Lawyer – Corporate & Crypto Focus

About the role

The Junior Lawyer will support the Head of Legal and the wider legal team, focusing on corporate and commercial matters, contracts, regulatory and licensing issues, and compliance within a fast‑growing fintech and crypto environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day corporate legal matters for CityPay.io Group and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare and review corporate resolutions, powers of attorney, minutes, approvals and other corporate documentation.
• Support company incorporations, restructurings, changes in management or shareholding, and related corporate procedures.
• Maintain and organise corporate records and legal documentation of group companies.
• Draft, review and amend commercial agreements such as service, partnership, consultancy, NDA, sponsorship, loan and employment contracts.
• Conduct legal research on cryptocurrency, digital assets, VASP activities, payment services, fintech licensing and related regulatory matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and produce internal updates on legal changes.
• Assist the Legal Team in assessing legal and regulatory requirements for new products, services, markets and business models.
• Review and update internal policies, procedures, terms and conditions, privacy and confidentiality documentation.
• Prepare legal correspondence, notices and responses to third parties and support employment‑related legal matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (a Master’s degree is a plus).
• 1–2 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm, in‑house department, fintech, financial services or technology sector.
• Strong interest in crypto, digital assets, fintech, payments and financial regulation.
• Excellent legal research, analytical and drafting abilities.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Capability to work effectively in a dynamic, international business environment.
