About the role
The Junior Land Consolidation Specialist will support the implementation of land consolidation activities within the FAO Representation in Georgia, working closely with the GRAIL project and national stakeholders. This position contributes to the development of more efficient farm structures, improved land rights and sustainable agricultural growth.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational support for land consolidation activities under the GRAIL project, in close collaboration with the FAO team.
- Collect, review and process land and property registry data relevant to consolidation initiatives.
- Assist in preparing the National Land Consolidation Strategy, legal framework assessments, and pilot project documentation.
- Support multicriteria assessments for future land consolidation efforts and capacity‑building activities.
- Coordinate with the National Project Coordinator, National Legal Specialist, FAO country office units and international experts.
Required profile
- University degree in agriculture, land management, environmental studies or a related field.
- Strong interest in land consolidation, rural development and sustainable agriculture.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and engage with national and international stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and documentation skills.
Required skills
- Experience with data collection, review and processing of land/property registry information.
