Junior Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our fast‑growing team in Tbilisi. You will work on a real product used daily by customers, receive mentorship from experienced developers, and gain practical experience in modern backend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services.
• Work with REST and SOAP APIs and integrate external systems.
• Interact with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Collaborate with the team to improve existing systems.
• Participate in development using Java, Kotlin and Spring (when knowledge is available).
• Explore and apply Test‑Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Learn new technologies quickly and take on additional technical tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of backend development concepts.
• Familiarity with Java or Kotlin and the Spring framework is a plus.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar databases.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs is desirable.
• Team‑player attitude and a strong desire to develop professionally.
