Technical Support Engineer – Level 2

About the role

Virtuozzo is a leader in infrastructure system software for AI, providing optimized operating systems, orchestration, virtualization, storage, and management technologies. As a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer you will deliver second‑level support and product expertise to customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑level technical support by coordinating, evaluating, troubleshooting, and resolving reported customer issues in collaboration with customer technical teams and internal teams.
• Analyse the technical performance and reliability of products, systems, and services based on customer requests.
• Manage customer communication and provide feedback in accordance with defined quality standards, customer satisfaction requirements, and SLAs.
• Maintain the internal and external knowledge base covering Virtuozzo products and troubleshooting procedures.

Required profile

• Desire to grow as an IT professional with a focus on advanced Linux expertise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused while investigating technical issues.
• Upper‑intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Required skills

• Linux operating system installation, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance.
• Linux networking and network services configuration.
• Linux troubleshooting and monitoring utilities.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenStack (advantage).
• Red Hat or LPI certification (advantage).
