Senior Azure Data Architect (GenAI / RAG / Agentic AI experience)

About the role

As an Enterprise Azure Data Architect you will design and own the data layer for GenAI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI applications, ensuring enterprise data is ingested, prepared, stored, governed and available for AI consumption.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own data architecture, modeling and ingestion pipelines for Azure environments.
• Build the data layer that supports GenAI, RAG and Agentic AI, including vector‑search preparation.
• Modernize existing data platforms and deliver scalable, metadata‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Strong background in Azure Data Architecture with deep expertise in Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Production experience designing data/knowledge layers for GenAI, RAG or Agentic AI applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Managed Instance, SQL Server, T‑SQL and Azure Functions.
