About the role

The Interventional Surgical Procedure Technician supports safe, age‑appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic imaging in interventional radiology (IR) and vascular hybrid settings. Working under the guidance of a clinical coordinator or department manager, the technician operates imaging equipment, prepares patients, and ensures sterile technique throughout procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical imaging procedures requiring critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Set up and operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring proper patient positioning.
• Prepare patients and equipment while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Collaborate with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists during procedures.
• Maintain departmental records, supplies, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide patient education and post‑procedure instructions.
• Assist in departmental training and perform duties assigned by leadership.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification in Radiologic Technology or Sonography.
• ARRT‑R or ARRT‑S certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
