Environmental Specialist – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist (Lot 2) to support construction supervision activities for a major infrastructure project involving roads, tunnels and bridges. The position is part of a project currently at the expression of interest stage and will prepare for a potential award.

Key responsibilities

• Support environmental management and monitoring across the project.
• Ensure compliance with environmental requirements of civil‑works contracts.
• Monitor site activities to guarantee adherence to environmental standards and regulations.
• Assist in reviewing contractor environmental plans and related documentation.
• Coordinate with the Senior Environmental Specialist on all environmental matters.
• Prepare environmental reports and maintain proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising and monitoring internationally funded projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent coordination, reporting and communication abilities.
