About the role

The Bank of Georgia is looking for a Junior Remote Support Specialist to join its Information Technology Department. You will provide first‑line 24/7 remote and telephone assistance to the bank’s group companies, ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents and requests.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level 24/7 remote/telephone IT support for group entities.
• Log, monitor and close incidents and service requests in the support system.
• Escalate complex issues and banking‑product related requests to higher support tiers.
• Identify and diagnose critical or global IT problems.
• Monitor bank IT systems continuously.

Required profile

• Higher education (Bachelor or Master) in Physics, Mathematics or Information Technology.
• Strong communication skills, confidentiality, initiative and teamwork orientation.
• Analytical, logical and creative technical thinking.
• High professional ethics and sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases (desired).
• Microsoft Windows platforms.
• Microsoft Office applications.
• Ethernet LAN principles and TCP/IP protocols.
• Microsoft Active Directory basics.
• Microsoft Exchange Server basics.
• Computer hardware and software fundamentals.
• Peripheral devices and network equipment basics.
• Basic VOIP telephony principles.
