Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer

About the role

MEDvidi is an AI‑powered mental healthcare platform seeking a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer to define the future of its infrastructure. You will set technical direction, ship solutions hands‑on, and own reliability, cost, security, and developer experience across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision and quarterly roadmap for AWS + Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure.
• Own Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK in TypeScript) and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, CloudWatch) and ensure actionable system health views.
• Implement zero‑downtime blue‑green deployments, automated health‑gated rollbacks, and PostgreSQL schema migrations.
• Lead security engineering in a HIPAA environment, including secrets hygiene, PHI‑aware logging, and Vault management as code.
• Partner with product teams to remove infrastructure friction and improve developer experience.
• Integrate agentic AI workflows (e.g., Claude Code) into production processes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of DevOps/infrastructure engineering experience with strong Linux administration.
• Hands‑on expertise with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, SQS, etc.) and production Kubernetes/EKS.
• Proven experience with Terraform, AWS CDK (TypeScript), and GitLab CI/CD.
• Practical security engineering experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Fluent in Russian and English (minimum B1).
• Effective remote work experience in distributed teams.
