AI Technical Product Manager (QVAC) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong interest in AI to help shape QV.AC, our privacy‑preserving, on‑device AI assistant. You will work closely with the Product Lead to translate vision into concrete use cases, define features, and guide development from discovery through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Lead to turn the QV.AC vision into use cases, feature proposals, and product requirements.
• Gather user feedback, conduct research, and identify where AI can solve meaningful problems.
• Write product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows for engineering and design.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to test concepts and communicate product behavior.
• Work with engineers on technical trade‑offs such as latency, memory, battery consumption, and privacy.
• Support prioritisation, planning, and backlog management aligned with product priorities.
• Drive feature delivery through development, review, and release readiness.
• Stay up‑to‑date with AI developments and recommend relevant tools or models for QV.AC.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably with AI software products.
• Hands‑on experience building, shipping, or prototyping AI‑powered features.
• Understanding of AI concepts such as inference, model capabilities, context, and evaluation, with interest in local/on‑device AI.
• Ability to translate ambiguous ideas into clear user problems, solutions, and actionable requirements.
• Strong product judgment, focus on usability, scope, and measurable user value.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to discuss technical trade‑offs with engineers and explain them to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and experience working in distributed teams.
