Deploy & Monitoring Director

About the role

TradingView is looking for a Deploy & Monitoring Director to lead the team responsible for delivering production‑ready services and ensuring the reliability of our global platform. You will own the monitoring strategy, drive observability culture, and work closely with DevOps and SRE teams to keep millions of traders and investors confident in our product.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a monitoring team: set tasks, prioritize work, track progress and support professional development.
• Design, implement and evolve monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.) using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE to improve CI/CD pipelines and automate observability.
• Ensure incident readiness, define SLI/SLO targets and build effective alerting mechanisms.
• Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and participate in hiring.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all monitoring‑related matters across the organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including 1‑2 years in a technical leadership or team‑lead role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and deployment automation tools.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring and alerting platforms.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid grasp of DevOps and SRE principles and IaC practices.
