Database Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Database Developer to join ASBIS and support a large‑scale enterprise application. You will ensure the stability of a mission‑critical system while driving new feature development and performance enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain stable, reliable database structures.
• Optimize and maintain legacy database systems.
• Modify database schemas based on user requests and perform thorough testing.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with developers to establish best practices and improve overall system quality.
• Gather user requirements and develop new database‑related features.
• Provide ongoing support to system users.
• Ensure all business systems meet company performance standards.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience working with complex IBM DB2, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, including tables and indexes.
• Proven ability to tune query performance and work with database metrics.
• Experience writing complex stored procedures and handling ETL processes.
