Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

About the role

As a Data Entry Specialist you will support healthcare facilities by collecting, verifying and submitting staffing data accurately and on time. This remote position is ideal for detail‑oriented professionals who enjoy working with large datasets and ensuring compliance with CMS reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review and organize staffing data from multiple sources.
• Verify data accuracy, identify inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets and internal databases.
• Enter, update and validate information while maintaining high data quality.
• Support timely submission of staffing data in accordance with CMS requirements.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding data questions and corrections.
• Assist with reporting, audits and ongoing process improvements.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure information is securely stored and backed up.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in data entry, administration, reporting or a similar role.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• SQL knowledge is a plus, but not required.
