Data Analyst – Commercial Team (AI‑focused)

About the role

Pave Bank is a digital bank serving global businesses in digital assets, payments and fintech. The Commercial team needs a Data Analyst who will turn client, transaction and pipeline data into actionable decisions, using AI as a core building block.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client revenue, transaction volumes, payment corridors and product usage to surface real growth drivers.
• Build and maintain profitability and unit‑economics models, including fee income, correspondent costs and FX spreads.
• Track pipeline health, conversion rates, onboarding time and first‑transaction timing, explaining trends.
• Identify at‑risk clients and uncover cross‑sell/upsell opportunities through activity‑pattern changes.
• Support pricing decisions with scenario modelling for fee changes and volume tiers.
• Prepare and defend data for board, investor and management reporting.
• Design, own and evolve the Commercial team’s dashboard layer, moving from manual spreadsheets to live self‑serve reporting.
• Build internal tools (client scoring, pricing calculators, lead enrichment, automation) and deploy them on Google Cloud.
• Integrate AI‑assisted workflows (e.g., Claude Code) into commercial processes and set standards for AI usage.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for turning data into business impact.
• Comfortable using AI tools as the default development environment.
• Ability to write clean, documented, maintainable code that can be handed over to teammates.
• Experience collaborating across Operations, Finance, Compliance and Product to ensure data quality.
• Good judgement on when AI output requires human verification, especially for client‑facing or regulatory content.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform for deployment and hosting.
• Claude Code or similar AI agentic tools for analysis, tooling and automation.
• Data analysis and modelling (profitability, unit economics, scenario analysis).
• Dashboard development and self‑serve reporting (BI tools, visualization).
