Cook – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook to join the kitchen team at our hotel in Batumi. The successful candidate will prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing and peeling fruits and vegetables.
• Measure, weigh and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Cook food using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers, ensuring proper doneness and presentation.
• Prepare cold dishes and assemble plates following quality and presentation standards.
• Monitor food quality, test cooked items and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, including tools, equipment and kitchen areas.
• Check appliance and food temperatures and adhere to safety and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Willingness to follow safety, hygiene and company procedures.
