Contracts Manager

About the role

The Contracts Manager oversees all aspects of contract management, from policy development and proposal preparation through negotiation, administration, and closure. This role ensures contracts are executed efficiently, risks are mitigated, and financial savings are realized across construction and real‑estate projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the contracting process from pre‑bidding through approvals and execution, ensuring compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
• Develop, negotiate, and administer contract documents, including variations, payment terms, and completion certificates for design, construction, and related projects.
• Identify and evaluate project risks, propose mitigation measures, and create contingency plans for key contracts and vendors.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and ensure all contractual activities align with QHSE standards.
• Report on approvals, authorizations, cost management, and provide senior management with spending analysis and savings opportunities.

Required profile

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 8‑10 years of hands‑on experience in contract management, preferably within the construction or real‑estate sector.
• Proven experience with FIDIC contracts and large‑scale project procurement.
