Chief Accountant – Hotel Finance Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Chief Accountant to own the full accounting cycle of our hotel. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure accurate financial records, timely statutory reporting, and robust financial controls across all hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting and tax cycle, including preparation and submission of tax declarations in line with Georgian legislation.
• Process and control invoices, expense reports, contracts and other supporting documentation.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, perform regular reconciliations with suppliers and partners.
• Maintain cash accounting, bank activities, corporate internet banking and daily cash movements.
• Reconcile hotel revenue with the Property Management System (PMS) and reservation system, ensuring accurate room charge recognition.
• Prepare monthly close, financial reports for management and supporting documentation for audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Georgian tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Ability to work independently, identify discrepancies and mitigate financial risks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
