Acute Care RN – Full-Time Day Shift

About the role

The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care on a full‑time day shift within an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes evidence‑based practice, cultural competence, and adherence to nursing standards and ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking.
• Deliver relationship‑based, patient‑centered care that respects cultural and population‑specific needs.
• Communicate and educate patients and families, ensuring their goals drive care plans.
• Document care accurately, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and follow clinical standards.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor and mentor to develop a competent nursing workforce.
• Support resource management and protocol development to enhance outcomes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license (single‑state or multi‑state compact) and BLS certification.
• Less than one year of clinical experience or completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
