Accountant – Georgia (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to manage the accounting, tax reporting, payroll and statutory compliance for our Georgian legal entity operating under a VASP licence. The role is fully remote and will support the company’s growth in the crypto‑payment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounting activities for the Georgian entity.
• Prepare and submit all statutory and tax reports in accordance with Georgian legislation.
• Calculate and remit local taxes, payroll taxes and mandatory contributions.
• Handle employee registration, monthly salary calculations and payroll administration.
• Ensure timely filing of declarations and payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of Georgian tax, payroll and accounting regulations.
• Hands‑on experience preparing statutory reports and tax declarations.
• Experience with payroll calculation and employee‑related taxation.
• Background in VASP, crypto, fintech or other regulated financial services.
• Fluent in English and Russian.

• Familiarity with accounting standards applicable to crypto‑related businesses.
