Senior Analytics Engineer

About the role

TradingView is building a Master/Reference Data Management platform to accelerate data delivery for over 2 million users. As a Senior Analytics Engineer you will own the dbt project and the transformation core, shaping the canonical data model and the Gold layer that powers the rest of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end dbt project, including transformations, reusable macros and modeling conventions.
• Consolidate legacy pipelines into unified, standardized workflows.
• Design and implement data quality checks and testing frameworks across Silver and Gold layers.
• Develop golden‑record determination and conflict‑resolution strategies for master and reference data.
• Build and maintain the canonical data model, semantic (Gold) layer and data catalog.
• Define transformation standards to enable self‑service for analysts, ops and domain teams.
• Deliver Gold‑layer data to downstream consumers, including integration with internal frontend systems.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer.
• Deep expertise with dbt, including modeling, macros, tests and project structure.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS and S3 data sources.
• Hands‑on experience with data‑quality tooling such as Great Expectations or Soda.
• Proven ability to design canonical and semantic layers and apply dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of master and reference data management and golden‑record logic.
• Ability to translate business logic from Go, Python or similar languages into SQL.
