Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology team. The RN will work within an interdisciplinary group to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care, following evidence-based standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the complete nursing process – assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation – to ensure individualized patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education, goal-setting, and support throughout the care journey.
• Coordinate and document care using inclusive interdisciplinary methods, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Participate in performance improvement, research initiatives, and shared governance activities.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and completing required education.
• Promote evidence-based practice, follow policies, and contribute to data collection for clinical questions.
• Assist in developing protocols and optimizing resource utilization across the care continuum.

Required profile

• Active RN license (single or multi-state) and current BLS certification.
• Associate or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Less than one year of clinical care experience is preferred.
• Strong critical-thinking, teamwork, and communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and cultural diversity.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
