Regional Sales Manager – Sports & Entertainment

About the role

Setanta Sports is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across multiple Central‑Eastern European markets. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong partnerships, and develop sales initiatives for Setanta Sports, the RKENA MMA organization, and MATCHDAY fan‑experience projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research in predefined regions and pinpoint potential partners aligned with commercial objectives.
• Proactively generate new sales opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline across several countries.
• Develop and nurture long‑term, profitable relationships with key customers and business partners.
• Lead partnership and sponsorship initiatives for RKENA, focusing on MMA events.
• Support MATCHDAY growth by creating partnerships around sports, culture, and travel experiences.
• Translate client needs into clear agreements, commercial terms, and supporting documentation.
• Manage existing partner relationships to ensure retention and cooperation.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and propose next steps based on insights.
• Collaborate with internal and cross‑functional teams to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in proactive sales, new‑business development, or sponsorship management.
• Regional or international sales experience in sports media or a related industry is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in Georgian, English, and Russian.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Interest in sports is advantageous.
