Palo Alto Networks Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Palo Alto Networks Engineer to provide first‑line technical support and drive sales growth through expert knowledge of next‑generation firewalls and related security solutions. The role involves close collaboration with vendors, partners, and customers to ensure successful deployment and ongoing support of Palo Alto Networks products.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and liaise with vendor technical support teams.
• Support sales initiatives by delivering technical expertise and project assistance.
• Communicate with Palo Alto Networks engineering, partners, customers, and internal teams.
• Study knowledge bases and provide expert support within SLA and KPI targets.
• Obtain Palo Alto Networks Support Engineer certification.
• Set up lab environments for testing hardware, software, and troubleshooting scenarios.
• Assist partners and customers with installation, configuration, and updates of security systems.
• Gather and manage documentation such as questionnaires, RFPs, battlecards, and topology diagrams.

Required skills

• Networking fundamentals and network topology.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, or Juniper hardware.
• Knowledge of NGFW, VPN, URL filtering, IoT security, endpoint protection, DNS security, and cloud security.
• Administration, testing, configuration, and support of next‑generation firewalls and cloud security solutions.
• Ability to build and use lab environments for product testing.
• Documentation handling for security products (questionnaires, RFPs, battlecards, topology diagrams).
