OTT / Broadcast Streaming & Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

The OTT / Broadcast Streaming & Cloud Operations Engineer will manage and optimise Nexy TV’s streaming infrastructure and cloud services. Based in Tbilisi, the role combines on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility to ensure reliable delivery of live and on‑demand video content.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and optimise streaming workflows and video delivery pipelines.
• Manage cloud resources, deploy and scale services on major cloud providers.
• Support broadcast operations for live and on‑demand content, including troubleshooting production issues.
• Implement performance and security improvements and participate in incident response.
• Collaborate with software developers, content operations and product teams on new features and channel launches.
• Document systems, processes and contribute to continuous reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Strong software development experience for OTT/broadcast environments, including scripting and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure management, networking components and streaming platforms.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration, performance tuning and security best practices.
• Knowledge of databases and data‑storage solutions for content and operational logging.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting and communicate clearly in English.
